In the UK, we think breakfast + lunch= brunch..right? Well it’s veryyy different in Dubai- some brunches are in the evening!

I have to say, my favourite brunch is Candypants at The Habtoor Grand Hotel, Dubai Marina on a Friday. The brunch starts at 12pm and serves food and unlimited drinks (absolute killer in the heat) till 4. If you’re willing to go on, the after party is at XL next door. It’s pretty cute- they have fun props etc around to mess about with and take random photos.

Things I liked about it- I liked how it was both inside and outside so if you were hot outside you could go and cool down inside (also very different to UK!), service was great and there was a wide selection of food. Young crowd consisting of mostly Brits- expats and people on holiday. I would highly recommend it and it was always so much fun coming in big groups.

Bit of advice though- book in advance!
